Providing a Better Future for Special Children

Dear Friends,

Caring for the children of Oaxaca and sharing the love of God was the vision of Al Baker, a quadriplegic from Irving, Texas. In 1974, with the founding of Casa Hogar, his vision became a reality. There are now two locations: one in the city of Oaxaca and one in Cuicatian, a mountain village two hours north.

Vulnerable children from four to eighteen, a number of whom have special needs or disabilities, are provided for at the orphanages. In a safe and caring environment, they learn about the Lord’s love for them.

Most of the children come from indigenous villages in the mountains of Oaxaca, where there is little or no formal education. At Casa Hogar they are educated in academics, life skills, and moral, spiritual, and social values.

There is a need for playground equipment for the children, and we would like to raise funds for this and other needs they have.

Sincerely,

Alec D. Brooks

President

With your help this past year we were able to provide nearly $30,000 for ministries in Chad, Senegal, Thailand, India, and Uzbekistan. Thank you!
