To Finish and Equip

Roger and Rachel Sambou oversee four churches, a clinic, and an orphanage in the village of Bourafaye, Senegal. They have also been providing a Christian education to 100 poor children, who are taught in their own language. The students also study English and Spanish. This year Rachel and Roger hope to enroll an additional 30 students.

The school was originally called Bethel, but because there are several other schools in the country with that name, it has been changed to Flying Eagles Academy. After completing sixth grade, the children go through a week of testing to see if they have learned all they need to know to advance to the next level. All the students passed the exams this year and will be attending secondary school. Last year we were able to provide the funds they needed to build a new classroom and repair the existing school buildings.

Much of the work has been done, but they need additional funds to complete the roof, install windows and doors, and provide the needed equipment for the new classroom.

Will you help us support this project?

Sincerely,

Alec D. Brooks
